Niemi Palvelut Oy (Niemi Services Ltd) is a family business, established in 1981. In addition to corporate, private and international removals, we also specialize in a wide range of other logistics services, e.g. with events management, delivery and assembly logistics, and expertise expo services. We offer rentable moving boxes and equipment, storage services, recycling, piano and grand piano transportations.

We take care of some 24,000 moves and 45,000 other service projects a year. We employ approx. 1100 trained service specialists. Our operational centres are located in Helsinki, Jyväskylä, Kuopio, Lahti, Oulu, Tampere and Turku. Our Expo Services Unit is based at the Helsinki Expo & Convention Centre.

We are the first to offer clean and environmentally friendly biogas removals in Finland. You recognize our biogas vehicles by a green round emblem “We move with biogas” on their side.

Currently 15 % of our fleet runs with biogas. Biogas is a renewable, 100% domestic (Finnish) fuel with fine particulate emissions of 0%. Our goal is to bring the company's fine particulate emissions to zero percent by 2040, according to our responsibility principles and our environmental program.

Our certified quality management system complies with the ISO 9001:2015 standard and covers the sales, planning and execution processes for moving, logistics and event services offered to companies and consumers in all of our locations.

Niemi Palvelut Oy is a member of the International Association of Movers (IAM) as well as the first and only Finnish member company of the Federation of European Movers Associations (FEDEMAC) as well as the Office Moving Alliance (OMA).

IAM represents more than 2,000 moving and forwarding companies in 165 countries. FEDEMAC represents approx. 4,000 moving companies in 25 European countries. OMA, for its part, is a network of companies providing international office moving services.

By 2016, Niemi’s International Services has been accepted in FIDI, the international alliance of professional international moving and relocation companies.

We are a member of the Suomalaisen Työn Liitto (Federation of Finnish Work) and we have the right to use the brand Avainlippu (Key Flag).

We are constantly expanding our network of partners.

Suomen Asiakastieto has given us "Finland's Strongest Platinum" certificate. Only 12% of Finnish companies meet the strict criteria required to obtain the certificate. The rating is evidence of the company's excellent financial indicator, positive background information and good payment behavior.
